Aunt Berta, as I always knew her, and Uncle Larry were special in our lives as my brothers and I grew up. Living just 40 or so miles away, we got to see a fair these good folks fairly frequently, and I can't remember any time that wasn't an enjoyable experience. I remember her as kind, gentle and smiling, an although I am sure it happened, I don't believe I ever saw her angry or upset. I know Alzheimer's has been stealing her away for some time now, as it did with my own mother long ago, and I find myself smiling when I think of how delighted she must be right now, returned to wholeness and allowed to understand life's many mysteries. How happy Uncle Larry must have been to be reunited with her. Obviously, I won't be there with you all for the service tomorrow, but will be lifting you all up in prayer during our two worship services out here in Bellingham, WA. We will be just finishing the 2nd service about the time you all are gathering. Blessings on all of you! The cousins have been a blessing in my life, even though we have not see one another for well over 45 years!

Don and family-
I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing. I remember her from Parker School, of course. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Always, Eileen

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Roberta's family. We all have many fond memories of her full and productive life. Roberta and I were close friends and neighbors through our early life. We shared so much in school, 4-H, church, etc. We always kept in touch and I have missed not being able to talk with her the last few years. Walter Bache told me of her passing. Walter and I are now the only survivors of the Virgil High School class of 1942.
May the memories of her wonderful life bring you comfort and strength in this time of sorrow.
Love, Isabel Hoose Van Warner

Roberta was a wonderful person who always had a smile on her face and a kind word. Both Roberta and Larry will be missed by their Homer Ave. Methodist Church family. I hope that all your warm memories will help you through these sad days.
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Ruth King
