Stephen R. Peacock, 44, formerly of Cortland/Homer and currently of Ithaca passed away March 23, 2016 at Cayuga Ridge Extended Care Center. Stephen grew up locally graduating from Homer High School in 1990. He had been employed as an LPN, with Borg Warner, and most recently with Stork Turbo Blades. He was an avid reader but spent free time volunteering for various organizations. He is survived by his mother Carol (Harley) De Shane, several step siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Monday 11 am-12:45 pm with a Celebration of Life where friends and family will be invited to share to begin 1pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045 Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, Preble NY.
