We just heard of Sandy's untimely passing. It was devastating news and it will take me/us a long time to get over it. He was one of our dear friends, always there for you when needed, never asking for anything in return. We had talked last summer and were aware of his health issues, but just like Sandy, he didn't want us to worry about him and kept the seriousness of his conditions to himself. From owning race horses together ,to listening of his Cortland tales of growing up with Gary Wood, a Cornell quarterback star and later NY Giant star, one of his best friends, he was a treat to be with. We always told him he should have been a "Stand-Up" comic, he had a tremendous sense of humor and was a terrific speaker, either that or a race track announcer, maybe that would have helped him pick a winner at the track?. I always consulted with him on the outcome of the Kentucky Derby, I've still not cashed a ticket! He loved his bowling and was a great teacher, instrumental in bringing high school bowling to Florida High Schools, President of the Florida Bowling Association and probably many more accomplishments that I'm not aware of. He was a great friend, a very generous and loving parent to Jenna & Andy whom I'm sure will miss him even more than us. He truly was one of a kind, we wish him well on his journey.

I met and worked with Sandy at Jupiter Lanes, I was there from July 2013 until Sept 2014. I could always count on him for one of his jokes to get us through the day. Sandy, meeting you was a honor and having your friendship a blessing. You will be missed by many and thanks again for teaching me about the sport of bowling. You forgot more about the game than I would ever know.
Here's to that perfect game that I know you're just finishing...
My heartfelt condolences to Sandy's family and friends.
Until we meet again my friend...

From all of us at Classic Products we are saddened by Sandy's passing. I personally was Sandy's sales rep for Classic a bowling company I work for. I served on the Bowling Centers Association of Florida board with him and will miss his stores and his bowling insight. I will have many golf and dinner stories to remember him. May his family find peace.

It would take volumes for me to tell you of all the wonderful things about Sandy. He taught me all about the bowling industry when I was just beginning as an association manager and was truly my mentor. His wit, dedication and loyalty will always be remembered by me and all who knew him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Condolences to Sandy's Family.
My recollections of Sandy go back to the early 50's when we played Softball and Football on Pine Street. There was Sandy, Chucky, Loretta, Vic, Charlie, Kenny sometimes Benny and Johnny, but always our Mentor - Marino. I probably left out a few and I planned on going to calling hours last night to see if any off those mentioned would be there, but I fell asleep in my chair.
RIP Sandy.

Sandy has a special place in my heart, we were born days apart in the same hospital, and spent many days together growing up. One night as teenagers, we tried to sneak in a football game at Randall Field. In climbing the fence, or crawling under, we both sustained cuts, from the barbwire, mine not so bad, Sandy really got a gash. We both panicked, but managed to become blood brothers. It seemed the thing to do, as we rubbed wrist. Sandy will be missed by many, many people. Warm Condolences, to Sandy's family and many close friends.________________ John and Michele
