My heart is breaking & what I'm feeling is nothing compared to you - her family. Each & everyone of you were so important to her. I worked with Sandy at Loretto and am so glad I had the privilege of knowing her even though our time together was relatively short. She was so special & will be missed by all who knew her. I will truly miss Sandy. It was great to have oriented her to supervision although she had a great deal of supervision already under her belt. I will never forget her laughter & sense of humor. She was well respected by her nurse colleagues. She was never afraid to take on an issue. I know how much she loved her family as she would always speak of them. She was excited to think about retirement & actually gave me a few tips on the subject. Stop and smell the roses while you can!

Sandy was an amazing woman, full of love and kindness. She was always there with me and for me, taught me so much and listened without judgement. She left me a better woman and nurse for having had the honor of her in my life.

I remember Sandy as a wonderful nurse at Highgate Manor in Cortland....many years ago... she had a wonderful smile and so helpful. She is gone way too soon, and will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.
