Dear Greenman Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved mother. Dorothy was my late husband, Joe's, secretary for many years while he was Dean of the School of Education at Cortland College. He thought very highly of Dorothy (of her skills, her loyalty, and her insight) and she became a friend as well as a valued secretary. After Joe left Cortland College, Dorothy still kept in touch with us and sometimes when we would return to Cortland to visit my son, we would meet Dorothy for dinner. I know you will miss her dearly. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Greenman family,
My heart was saddened when I learned of the passing of a wonderful lady. I met Dorothy thru my sister Maryalice Scharoun. An instant bond was born. Whenever I visited Maryalice, we made it a point to stop by and see Dorothy. Of course, a game of competitive marbles was always a part of the visit! These memories I'll cherish forever; along with the thoughtful gift of my very own marble board! She will be lovingly missed.
My prayers and thoughts are with you as your hearts begin their healing journey.
Jeanne

Dorothy was a special friend from the time I was first employed at SUNY Cortland in 1957. We shared lots of laughs, some trips and many special dinners and recipes! I send my condolences to each and every family member and to her friends. Love to you, Breta
