Obituary of Dorothy M. Greenman

Dorothy M. Greenman, age 91, of Cortlandville, passed away November 5, 2017 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 27, 1926 in Cortlandville, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Moore Mudge.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Cortland High School in 1945. She was employed at SUNY Cortland for 38 years. She became a senior stenographer and worked for the Dean of the Education Office.

She is survived by her daughters: JoAnn (James) Fox of Cortland, Carol (Hugh) Keegan of Groton, June Greenman (Larry Stein) of Massachusetts; grand children: Kevin Keegan, Erin (Steven) Toddes, Kristie (Doug) Butler, Karen (Dave) Viscotha; great grandchildren: Daymin Eldred, Taylor and Cody Butler, Ellie and Max Toddes.

Calling hours will be Friday, November 10, from 1 – 4 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY 13045. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 11, at 10:00 am at Wright-Beard Funeral Home followed by interment at the McGrawville Cemetary.
