Dear Linda and family, was so sorry to have read of Bob's passing, he was my boss at Smith Corona and a great one at that. Often thought of you both when passing down thru Castle Creek, and the area not quite sure just where you had moved to once leaving Cortland. Still have a few momentous that he brought back from some of his trips. One of my great memories was when I told him he was a Grandpa that smile was priceless.

Linda and Family
Sue and I are very sorry to hear about Bob. During the short time we worked with you and Bob on the sale of your home , we grew very fond of Bob and are very proud to own some his wood work. We would like to offer up the Therapy sign to you or the family that still hangs at the base of the cellar stairs. If not, the sign will always be there as a tribute to his work and dedication and love for engineering, not to mention the saw dust I still sweep up from time to time.

Word cannot explain our sadness! Lots of memory rushing through me
Met Linda and Bob when I first came to US as a graduate student at BU, they opened their heart and home to international students, offered a place to celebrate holidays! Over the years, we formed such a bond. Bob was the one walked me down the slopy Colorado foothill on my wedding day as my “American father”, and he was the only grandpa Kyle’s ever known! He introduced me to Chartreuse, I still enjoy it from time to time... Here is one for you, Bob! We will celebrate your life and love ❤️

Wow.... I met Bob and Linda in 1997 in Senegal (my native country), and that encounter changed my life. They had come for Linda to start a study abroad program for Binghamton University's School of Education and Human Development, and I served as their translator and tour guide. Bob and I always reminisced about how the two of us sat in the back of a station wagon on the way to and from Saint Louis in northern Senegal. A year later, I moved to America and attend Binghamton University with Linda's help. Bob and Linda became my family and I spent most holidays at their home. They are the parents I did not have in America, and my wedding reception was held in their backyard. My children know them as their grandparents too. Our family is overwhelmed with sadness, but we feel blessed to have had the privilege to know such a kind and loving person. We will miss him sorely. May he Rest in Perpetual Peace. We love you Grandpa Bob.
Much love and hugs to everyone.
Marame
