Uncle John,
I can't believe I am writing this right now. Words can not express how much it hurts that you aren't here with us anymore. You were always there for me. You were my family and friend. I always felt at ease and calmer after we had our talks. You always had the right things to say. You were my go to.
So many memories with you. One of my favorites was you and Aunt Liz taking Anita and I to go see Jurassic Park at the theater. Can't forget the Haunted House you and Aunt Liz took us to! You were at all our birthday parties. You were always there for us as kids. You continued to be there for me as an adult. You helped me in more ways than I can count and I will never forget you.
They say time heals all pain. All we can do is take comfort in knowing you are still there for us, looking down on us everyday. I love you. Rest in peace, Uncle John.

My Dearest Brother...
I miss you so! I just cannot believe you went to be with the Lord. It is just too soon for us; however, God has other plans that are not clear. It hurts knowing that when Liz and I now talk, on the phone, your voice will not be there sharing with us. Liz used to say that when she received a call from me, you would be calling on the other line, or vice-a-versa. It seems you and I were in tune on a few things...purchasing sunglasses...different states, same store, same time and same sunglasses! We found this out when both pair were placed on the table and discovered what wonderful taste we both had! Even our birthdays were close...my fellow Scorpio.
I will always love you John, and I will forever miss you. Rest with Jesus. That knowledge is the only thought that will bring us peace. Goodbye Mr. P. I love you!

My heart goes out to the family of BJ. He was a gentle neighbor who played with my son for many years. He was always a caring human being. Marge, I'm sure is proud of her son.

I got to know John through our affiliation with Cedar Run. He was truly a special human being. A caring, funny and calm person.
He will be missed. It saddens my heart at the loss of our dear friend.
He was so comforting for us all at our Family Counsel Meetings.

I knew John (BJ) almost my whole life. We went to Pomeroy School and High School. I remember his family giving him a birthday party at the Palm Gardens, and being able to eat all the ice cream we could eat. In my first year or two in college, BJ, myself and two other guys drove down to Florida on spring break in his ford mustang. It was my first time ever in Florida. It was generous of him to let us all have a turn in driving his car. But that was Beeg, he was always joking, smiling, and easy going, never had a cross word, yell or scream. Everybody who knew him will miss all of that. He was a great friend.
