George and family,Sorry
to hear of your dad's passing.
As my son's hockey coach now,I think of him often and smile.
The early morning practices, road trips, locker room pranks all good memories.
He taught us all Alot,on and off the ice,and will be missed.

Very saddened to hear the news of Coach Exley's passing. He was my hockey coach and my guidance counselor. I learned a lot about hockey from him before high school and during the three years I played for him. He was a tough but fair coach, and when we won the section 3 division two championship, every member of the team surrounded him and congratulated him for leading us to the championship. He helped me during high school as well, taking extra time when I was struggling with a few things. My condolences to George and the rest of the family. David Exley will be missed. I will still think of him and all the members of our team every March 4th,the night we won in the Utica Aud. I can still see his smile from that night. He was proud of his boys and we were of him.
