Prudy and family, So sorry for the loss of Eric. tried to come to calling hours but line was very long, husband Dan has Ms and myself with bad hip, could not tolerate standing for to long. Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this tragic time. Will contact you soon and meet with you . Hold on to all of your beautiful memories of Eric. He was the best . We were heartbroken to hear of Eric's passing. He not only was a wonderful man, husband and father, but a great coach and mentor, and a cherished member of this community who touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed. Prudy, our hearts go out to you and your beautiful family. May cherished memories bring you comfort and may God Bless all of you and bring you peace. To the entire prior family , I’ll forever remember Coach for all the advice and mentor he was , every time he saw me he would say “ Stage “ with the biggest smile and give me the biggest hug ever . He truly was a remarkable guy and his legacy will never be forgotten, I’m truly sorry for the pain and empty void you all are facing he may be gone but he will always be with you all .

Eric was an icon who exhibited what a human being should be like, what a Husband should be like and what a Father should be like. I use to drive school bus for Cortland City Schools and always enjoyed the trip while Eric was on board and also when I drove your son's to the away basketball games...Everyone was extremely nice to be around. Eric and Prudy were the best role models any child would ever want. Prayers for all of you in the healing process of this great loss to you, this community and along with everyone he ever touched. God bless you all.
