Krista was an amazing person, with so much light and joy. Her and I were in the same sorority together @ Cornell and traveled to Trinidad & Tobago together on a once of a life trip with some of our girlfriends. It is beyond shocking to me that she is gone from this world so early . My heart truly goes out to her family during this time . Rest In Peace, Krista . You will truly be missed.

Krista and I were in the same major and in KD together at Cornell. We also took a wildly fun Spring Break trip together to Trinidad & Tobago. Although we lost touch a while after we graduated, I’ll always remember her adventurous spirit, the way she brightened up the studio even after we’d been there sewing all night, and her generosity and kindness. I am deeply saddened to hear that we lost her in this world but know that her spirit lives on laughing, dancing, and creating. Sending my love to all her friends and family.

Dear Speicher Family,
I offer my condolences on the passing of Krista. She will be missed. I remember she cut my hair once in our freshmen dorm at Cornell. Another friend Lindsey was interested in helping, but she didn't know what she was doing, so Lindsey got to play cutting my hair for a couple minutes, then Krista cleaned it up. Luckily I think it was a simple buzz cut. Krista was a wonderful person and she will live on in our hearts. You and Krista will be in my prayers.

This news weighed on my heart with such sadness, and I cannot even begin to imagine how much of a loss this is for you. Krista was a beautiful, kind, and warm person, and the example she set throughout school and afterwards in life gave me and many others something to aspire to. Though her light will carry on in all of those she knew, the world is at a tremendous loss for not having her in it. I am so deeply sorry, and send all of my love to her family and friends.
