Obituary of Robert J Tinelli

Robert (Bob) Tinelli, 63, of Groton, NY passed away peacefully August 4th surrounded by his loving wife and children. Bob was born in Cortland, NY on January 11, 1956. He worked in building trades, Barden Homes and most recently at HEP Sales in Cortland with a fantastic group who he counted among his closest friends. A motorcycle enthusiast, Bob loved riding his Harley, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the view from his favorite chair on his back deck. A loyal friend to all, Bob welcomed everyone into his life with an open heart and a kind word. Bob was always willing to lend a hand, hesitant to ask a favor and able to spread joy with his silly sense of humor. Bob is survived by his daughter, Caitlyn (Dustin) Wright, sons Dylan and Justin, precious granddaughter Hazel, devoted spouse and best friend Terry as well his siblings Tony, (Nadine) Tinelli, Peter (Linda) Tinelli, Fran Tinelli, Nance (Martin) McKendrick and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Bob is also greatly missed by his faithful canine friend and companion, Honey Potter. In keeping with Bob's wishes his family would like to welcome all who knew and loved him to join us in a celebration of his life at Tinelli's Hathaway House on August 11th from 2:00 to 6:00.
