Our deepest condolences on the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
Ron and Shou-mei were my wonderful neighbors for near 20 years when I moved to Groton Ave in 1990.
Ron installed the light fixature at the top of our stairs near 30 yrs ago now. They both were extremely industrious and were constantly tending to their home or their yard. Shou-mei would make us Christmas cookies and they frequently shared their tomatoes and cucumbers from their bountiful garden.
They had dogs themselves when I first met them that they treated very lovingly. I enjoyed watching them bathe Katya and Brandy (?) in their meticulous black paved driveway. Lots of suds. They inspired me to get dogs after having only had house cats. They told us they appreciated our dogs when they made the decision not to replace their own. They spoiled our dogs with treats and ear and nose rubs over the years.
We were sorry to see them leave, but we totally understood them moving out west to be closer to their children and grandkids.
We are better to have known this two kind people.
