My uncle Tim was there my entire life. He was always interested in what I was doing. He genuinely cared about me and always supported me. Uncle Tim had a way to make everyone feel special and always had a positive word to say. Uncle Tim and Aunt Adelaide lived further away then other relatives, but always made it a point to be there with William and Mary. Enclosed are two pictures from a 1998 wedding in Virginia (Josh & Jenn Cleghorn) and in 2011 up in CT. Uncle Tim was also our spokesman when it came to solemn events. His thoughtful remarks touched us and also helped us move forward. As I think about all of the selfless, generous acts Uncle Tim has performed, I will try to fill in the blanks that are left with us with his words of wisdom and hope. Aunt Adelaide, William, Mary, Tara and Tim, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Harold William

Dear Adelaide, William, and Mary,
My deepest condolences for your loss. I will miss Uncle Timmy and his stories. My favorite memories of Uncle Tim were the times our families spent together on the Jersey Shore. Tim would tell us stories about his childhood and the summers he spent on the shore as kid growing up. He loved spending time at the beach with all of us--crabbing, fishing, relaxing and most of all, helping us catch the biggest waves on our buggy boards! Those were great times and great memories I will never forget!
Love, Ron

Tim was kind to me in every moment I ever spent with him, which were too few. He had a great, positive take on life. I can think of no one I have ever known who left behind only thoughts and memories of being so sweet and open and known to laugh so easily. Love from brother-in-law Steve.

Tim was such a joy to work with. He always treated me with such respect, and he was so very smart. You could ask him anything and he knew the answer, a great historian. I will miss him.

Uncle Tim was always the most interesting man in the room. Even as a child I remember him telling stories or sharing adventures. As I grew older, I came to understand that he had so many stories because he knew so many people. And he knew so many people because he cared about his community, church, and country. He could be a bit irascible - especially when a 7-year-old niece is blaring Disney's Jungle Book at top volume on her grandmother's record player while he's planning a wedding - but then could you blame him? He and Addie have always been generous with their time and talents. I am grateful to have had a lifetime of experiences with them both.

Dear Aunt Adelaide, Cousin Mary, & Cousin William,
I am going to miss my uncle Tim. When I look into my memories of him, I hear his energetic voice and see a genuine smile that travels quickly into his eyes. I remember awesome family dinners (mainly turkey) where uncle Tim would tell stories that had all the adults roaring with laughter. The family guy, the fun guy, and the guy who cared. Uncle Tim always made time to ask me how I was. He cared to know about my ambitions and was one of the first adults who asked me to vocalize them. He always offered encouragement. I think he wanted me to know he was on my team. Going through art school he was my #1 paper supplier and later my #1 book distributor for myself and my children. My word to describe him is “abundant”. Abundant with love given and abundant with laughter.
May God be with you as you grieve and may He be merciful with your hearts.
Deepest Sympathy,
Your Kaizie

Dear Addy and family,
We were sorry to read of Tim's passing. We always enjoyed stopping to chat with him as we walked past your house. We would talk of your time spent in Florida and all of his gardening efforts( his new grass thatcher). We knew he loved golf and would see him leaving with his clubs many days. Know we are thinking of you. You and your family are in our prayers.

Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow.
In remembering Tim, we golfed in the Elm Tree member guest and on the 18th hole Tim left his putt inches from the hole. Instead of tapping it in, he whacked it off the green.
Rest in peace buddy.
