We have been thinking of you all. Please know that my parents cherish their years of friendship with Ray and Julia. They had such great times together! I will always remember the sparkle in your dad’s eyes and the kindness he carried in his heart.

Ray and Julia lived around the corner from us in McGraw. Mr. Gallow was always outside in the summertime, tending to his garden, and he'd give us veggies when we walked by. What a kind, happy person he was, always friendly and smiling. We'll always have fond memories of talking to Ray when he was out and about in McGraw. Sending condolences to Julia and their entire family. -- Meghan Aagaard

Uncle Ray was a special man. He could always make you laugh with his corny jokes and blowing up his belly. I remember him coming to the house to do my parents taxes. Dad would offer him a glass of wine and Uncle Ray would say “Just a small glass I can’t handle wine”.He will be missed. Dan and Theresa Quail

Ray was a wonderful man. He would help out anyway that was needed. He even agreed to wear the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” costume at the elementary school in McGraw for the yearly carnival. I am not sure who enjoyed that more....the kids or Ray. Memories that make a person smile. Rest In Peace, Ray.

Sending Love and hugs to Aunt Julia and all your family. When Ron and I were first married, Uncle Ray and Aunt Julia came up to see our home with Bob and Mary. On the “tour” he said he had to sit on our bed! We laughed and inquired as to why he “had” to? He said if he sat on it, we would have lots of children!! I still laugh over it!! He was always smiling and very funny! ❤️❤️❤️

I will never forget the fun times we had growing up next door to my Aunt and Uncle, Julia and Ray. Ray was always cheerful and funny. He would pick spiders off the fence and we would run and scream. He said now don't you think if the spider was mean he would bite me? I still have a fear of spiders though. I will always remember him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Julia, and all of my cousins and their families.
