I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. I met John at Labrador ski center and had the pleasure of working with him in the kitchen. He had many stories he told me, always enjoyed working and talking to Johnny! Have fond memories of John and remember his sauerkraut he made! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I am very sorry to hear about John's death. He truly lived a long and eventful life. I don't think may Dad had a better friend. Their storytelling was legendary. The two of them put their fingerprints on the nearly the entire interstate system in NY. Truly the end of an era. Fondly, Pat McNally

To John's Family - I am very sorry to see that John has passed. I met him on several occasions when I was helping Uncle Pete and Aunt Marj Amidon. When Uncle Pete passed, John used to visit with Aunt Marg from time to time. He was a wonderful man. I am so very sorry for your loss. You have my sincere and deepest sympathies. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Respectfully, Debi Ahrens Howe
