Charlie was a hard headed, stubborn, opinionated, hard working man but also had another side. Like his brother, my dad, he could just not say no to helping someone, anyone that needed help. I have fond memories of Charlie and Marilyn and the crew whether just visiting each others houses or camping or traveling and just soaking up the same old stories and bs that never got old and always were full of laughs. I got the middle name of Charles and was told how much I acted like him as a kid (and beyond)! I like to think I was named not for my grandfather but a much greater man who was my uncle Charlie!!

Dave, Doug & Dennis:
I was sad to read about the passing of Mr. Honour. I have many great memories of bringing partially disassembled cars to Charlie's Body Shop from my home on North Tower Road. Your father was always good to me. Those were the days when you could get your car painted for $250.
His passing has me recalling many memories. I remember one time in the 1980's when Charlie was called to a McGraw bus accident on Route 41. The bus had been hit head on and needed to be towed. He hooked his old International Harvester wrecker to the bus and I swear that the front wheels of that wrecker barely touched the ground. But he towed the bus back to his shop. Today, a much bigger tow truck would be called. But Charlie Honour was a man who knew how to get the job done with the tools that he had.
Please accept my most sincere regrets over the passing of your father.
Sincerely, Steve Littlefield

Charlie was one of a kind. The things he taught "those" Monroe boys are still with us today. We all have great memories working for Charlie, things we still talk about over 30 years later. He will surely be missed, but a man like him, will never be forgotten. So sorry for your loss. Mike Monroe

My parents ( Jim & Shirley Parker)knew him and I remember stopping in on the way home many times to visit with him while growing up. The funny thing is our car always seemed to quit in that general location. No matter what time of the day or night he would always answer my dads knock on the door. He was always vey kind and jovial. Thank you fo r the pleasure of having known such a kind man.
