I'm a nurse in ithaca and new Susan only briefly, but she impacted me deeply. Attempting to describe her attributes won't do. I'll simply say that she's listed in my phone as Sue (earth angel)....and even that doesn't do her justice. Her peace overwhelmed me...and I truly thank God for bringing her into my life and will be paying for all of you and your peace.

I really don't know what to say. Sorry for your loss, seems so inadequate. So many childhood memories with all the Bells. Wouldn't trade it for the world. I know her soul is with you always. Look for the signs of her presence.

Sue and I were neighborhood buddies when we were in our teens. She was the kindest and sweetest person I knew, and I loved spending time with her. I saw her again at our high school reunion and just fell in love with her all over again. I was so impressed with the the warm and compassionate woman she became, and was happy to see she still had that lovable quirky streak. My heart goes out to her wonderful kids, of whom she was very proud, and her loving husband Jon. You had a special one!

I've known Sue she was a student at SUNY Cortland. A more compassionate, caring, good person would be difficult to find. A real piller of this community. She will be sorely missed by friends and family. Our condolences to Jon and the family. Stuart & Nancy Traub

So many memories of this special friend and neighbor. A 2nd mom to Brett while he and Logan were growing up together all the way from Happy Way nursery school through high school. Compassionate, carefree and always and with a positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. We love you Sue.....Scott & Lisa

I always loved playing at Bailey's house growing up, there was always something to do, or an adventure to be had! Sue is the best mother I have ever met, I send my kids outside to play rain or shine, because of her! I feel so honored to have known her and learned from her. I am sending all my love to the wonderful Marks family.
