Aunt Clarice was a wonderful women. She loved my Mom as a daughter and took good care of her when she was a teen. She grew beautiful roses and other perennials. I remember her having a cat, cannot remember its' name, but this kitty was so wide when it walked it looked like it was gliding, lol. She loved animals. I only visited her once while in the nursing home and very much regret that. Bless you Aunt Clarice.
I remember Clarice fondly, as well as her brother, Charles. as they were my maternal grandmother's (Florence (Austin) Gardner Heller) 1st cousins.
Rest in peace - you lived a long life!
