Obituary of Dennis Lee Howe

Dennis Lee Howe April 25, 1976 – December 25, 2022 Dennis Lee Howe, 46, of Homer surrounded by his family, went to be with his Lord December 25, 2022. Dennis was born on April 25, 1976 in Cortland, the son of Dennis A. Howe, and Sherry L. (Davis) Monroe. A lifelong resident of Homer, Dennis made a successful career managing the fabrication shop, Wilbedone, Inc. in Cortland. Dennis was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and was very knowledgeable of the finer details of the hobby. In his earlier years he loved playing baseball and softball. Dennis enjoyed woodworking, sports, music, and gardening, which he spent many hours perfecting. Dennis above all, was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He had a deep love for his family, including his dog, Max. He also loved our many memorable family occasions. He was always first to lend a hand to anyone in need. Dennis will always be remembered for his compassion, wit, generosity and warm heart. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Christine (Kienzler) Howe, father Dennis A. Howe (Sharon Nadge) and mother Sherry (Ted) Monroe, brothers Derek (Tammy) Howe, Brian Donahue, sisters Diane Monroe-Sutton, Heather Donahue (Val Podolec); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Friends are invited to call at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11am to 12:45pm. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home following the calling hours at 1pm. Internment will be at the family's convenience at the Homer Glenwood Cemetery in the spring.
