Kathy was my aunt. I’ve known her since right after I was born but I also got to know her through her childhood by reading through my grandmother’s diaries that I found shortly after she(grandma) passed away. I lived in the same house she did in my early 20’s and that made me feel even closer to her. I remember playing with her as a child and the frequent visits growing up and while she lived with my sister. We always had the pleasure of seeing her during holidays also. She was always so kind to me and was always very happy to see me with a lot of questions and compliments. She always made me feel special. Kathy had a great sense of humor and laughed a lot, a wonderful character. She’ll always have a special place in my heart and I’ll miss her always.
