Obituary of Betty Louise Daluisio

Betty Louise Daluisio, 95, of Cortland, NY passed away on Monday September 23, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on November 6, 1928, the daughter of the late George and Mammie O'Brien Flynn. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister. Betty lived and raised her family in the Cortland area for more than 65 years. She was a dedicated member of the Former Memorial Baptist Church where she enjoyed helping in the nursery. That was her love, caring for children which she did so for 36 years as a registered day care provider. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Betty is survived by her children, Rosemary Russell, Karen Birtwell and Nicholas Daluisio. Her Grandchildren, Michele (Todd) Stoker, Shelly Russell, Christine Drake, Jessica Birtwell and Matthew Birtwell. Her Great Grandchildren, Miranda Stoker and Carter Ingraham, and her siblings Georgia Rafferty, Mary Siegel and Jerry Flynn as well as multiple nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty is predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Daluisio. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 27, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 1250 Fisher Ave., Cortland, NY. The burial will be private in the Atwater Cemetery.
