I have some wonderful memories of Kitsie, both with her in the US and in Austria. A standout one being when she made the most brilliant orange hats for us all to ski in!
Kitsie, you'll be truly missed. Sending lots of love and strength to the Demeree's, you're in our thoughts.
Love Aimee

I am so sorry to learn of Kitsie's passing. I met Kitsie at the YWCA in the '70's. She inspired me to try sewing and later I enjoyed singing with her in the church choir. Such a sweet and thoughtful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Marilyn Miller

My deepest condolences to your family. I knew Kitsie through quilting and was always so in awe of her many talents. She was always willing to lend a hand when it came to figuring out a pattern or technique. Her knowledge was unsurpassed. Kitsie was very kind and funny and always made you feel special when she talked to you. I will miss seeing her at our yearly retreat to Watson with our quilt guild. Rest in peace my friend.
